I Did It Again

You know me...I have to do this about once a year.
I went back to brown yesterday but this is the darkest I have ever done.



Anyone wanna make a guess on how long it will be before it's blonde again?

"Happy" 4th of July?

I know...I've become a total slacker on updating my blog.

It's been a busy summer.
I can't believe it's already July! Eek!
We've had lots going on and I just haven't made time to update.

Yesterday was the 4th of July.
It sucked. lol

I started the day with a goodbye...
followed by an argument over plans....
then went to the (outdoor) mall and sweated my arse off...
picked up some "firecrackers"...
burned my thumb (baaad) on a sparkler...
hardly even watched the fireworks display...
I ended the night standing out on the fort in the backyard, spying on the police (including a police helicopter) who were apparently responding to the gas station down the street being held up.

Doesn't that sound fabulous?????? Ugh....
Chloe seemed to have a good time though...so it's cool.

Otherwise, things have been going well.
I'm happy, my kiddo is happy and healthy.
I am missing Grandpa a lot. But I know he wants me to be happy...so that's what I'm tryin to do. :)


Chloe's been her normal crazy self.
She came in with her guitar earlier and belted out "Viva Viagra!"
Then she wanted to know why you should ask your Dr. if your heart is healthy before having sex.
Lovely. Gotta love tv commercials!

We saw the Kit Kittredge movie today.
It was great! Chloe can't wait for her birthday because she has asked for an American Girl doll. It's all she can talk about lately.

We're only a little over a month from her birthday.
My *baby* is going to be SEVEN!!!!!
That's a *big* kid! It happens so fast!
